Unimat 17 Modulus is an entrance mat consisting of individual square shaped modules assembled together to form a uniform entrance mat. The product is made of PE&EVO material resistant to high traffic. The single modules are available in two versions: the cleaning Unimat 17R Modulus for dirt and grit, and the mixed (drying-cleaning) Unimat 17T Modulus with textile inserts in different materials (polypropylene, polyamide, indoor only or universal indoor/outdoor usage).
Unimat 17 Modulus offers the flexibility to combine both versions depending on the type of entrance, the customer's wishes and the level of dirt and/or water to be removed. This entrance matting system also works perfectly with Unimat 17 aluminium profile doormats with all available cleaning inserts, e. g. with brush inserts, to create an effective cleaning draught. Both versions are designed for entrances to all buildings also with high traffic to stop dirt and moisture - for foot traffic as well as cleaning wheels of shopping trolleys, wheelchairs, hand pallet trucks etc. The doormat can be placed in a previously prepared gully finished with the Unimat UR17 system frame or directly on the floor in the Unimat UN12/17 overrun frame.
It is ideal for creating uniform, directionless clean zones. The tiles can be easily cut to size with an electric circular saw or jigsaw, so this system is ideal for installation in tight corridors, vestibules, wall to wall. Any damaged modules can be easily replaced with new ones without having to disassemble the entire cleaning field.
There are tabs on the underside of the modules that allow water to flow freely. Cleaning is done with a professional vacuum cleaner from above, without removing the modules.
