Drive - through cleaning system Unimat 43 B Hercules
The Unimat 43 B Hercules has an extreme strength of over 1000 kN per wheel.
Advantages of Unimat 43 Hercules:
- an effective reduction of dirt entering the objects,
- increased safety at work in the entrance area - clean wheels reduce the risk of accidents on slippery and dirty floors,
- improving interior cleanliness levels,
- increase the life of floors by reducing the so-called coarse dirt,
- the possibility of installation in the facility without any construction work,
- easy replacement of individual brushes reduces service costs.
Basic technical data:
- cleaning module 1000 x 470 x 43 mm
- number of brushes per module: 29 pieces
- color of brushes: black (other colors available for individual orders).
Additional accessories:
- main ramp,
- lateral ramp,
- corner ramp,
- separate stainless steel settling tank for each module,
- hand grip for carrying the modules,
- trolley for transporting the modules.
With the Unimat 43 B Hercules ride-on doormats, dirt brought into buildings on wheels, rollers, tires and work shoes can be removed in significant amounts. Using a large enough cleaning field, the system reduces up to 95% of the dirt in the entrance area.
Effective doormats for industry
We recommend the Unimat 43 B Hercules system as an effective industrial doormat, which helps to maintain order and safety in production halls with intensive internal traffic and constant communication from outside the industrial hall. The cleaning fields collect dirt from the wheels of forklifts and other vehicles very thoroughly.
Production rooms are particularly exposed to the transfer of dust, sand and dirt. The carriers are, among other things, the wheels of vehicles running in and out of buildings. Sometimes, however, the nature of the production requires a particular order. Also the proximity of the so-called clean zone means the need for effective industrial doormats. In our company, we manufacture suitable drive-through cleaning systems to stop the spread of waste in facilities with intensive production activities.
Doormats with a wheels - cleaning system
A special type of industrial doormat, the Unimat 43 B Hercules, is ideal for this task. It features heavy duty and durable combs and cleaning brushes. Withstands heavy loads, such as forklifts carrying considerable weight. The purpose of industrial doormats is to clean the wheels of vehicles used for transport in halls and warehouses.
Greater efficiency can be achieved by combining an industrial doormat system with worker protection, e. g. by using aluminium doormats inside or outside the building. This increases the effectiveness of stopping contamination coming from outside the hall or warehouse. How does the forklift wheel cleaning system work?
The drive-through cleaning system works through a series of connected cleaning modules. The set of grates is made of stainless steel. Additionally, they are equipped with cleaning brushes for indoor and outdoor use.
The system should be placed at facility entrances. As vehicles drive over the modules, the brushes make contact with the wheels from multiple angles. The removed dirt falls into stainless-steel tanks beneath each module. For pedestrian entrances, use aluminium exterior doormats.
The cleaning modules measure 1000 x 470 x 43 mm and handle extreme weights. Fully loaded forklifts and heavy machinery can drive safely over them. The standard brushes come in black, though other colors can be ordered for specific needs.
Operators should be taught the correct speed for driving through the system. The best is walking pace or slower.
For the best effect, a minimum of three consecutive cleaning modules should be installed in the primary traffic direction. The system can accommodate various vehicle sizes. Each module connects securely to adjacent units, creating a stable cleaning platform that does not shift during use.
Where can you install the forklift tire cleaning mats?
Prime locations for a forklift wheel cleaning mat are manufacturing plants and warehouses. They are useful at transition points between production areas where vehicles move between different cleanliness zones. The mats maintain separate hygiene standards without disrupting the flow of operations.
Distribution centers often install these mats at entrances to their main storage areas. This position prevents outdoor debris from being tracked throughout the facility. They are often installed at entrances to sensitive production areas to maintain a controlled environment.
The system is not suitable in the areas where vehicles need to make sharp turns or sudden stops. If your facility uses vehicles with wheels smaller than 15 centimeters in diameter, the drive-through cleaning system might not be appropriate.
We recommend these installation spots:
- main entrances,
- loading bay approaches,
- transitions between dirty and clean areas,
- entrances to storage areas,
- between outdoor and indoor areas.
Why should you choose a forklift wheel cleaning system?
Manual washing is less effective than a forklift wheel cleaning mat. In practical terms, when you use the Unimat 43 B Hercules, less dirt reaches your facility floors.
The system's durability is proven through rigorous stress testing. The modules withstand continuous use by heavy vehicles. This translates to years of reliable service with only routine brush replacement needed.
Installation costs are offset by reduced cleaning expenses. Facilities report longer floor surface due to reduced abrasive wear from dirty wheels. Daily maintenance involves only removing debris from collection tanks.
The interaction between brushes and vehicle wheels creates noise during operation. However, noise levels range from 65 to 75 decibels during vehicle passage, comparable to normal conversation levels.
Beyond the immediate benefits of cleaner floors, facilities see reduced wear on material handling equipment. Joined with drying and dust-absorbing mats indoors, this creates a complete dirt prevention system. Clean floors cause less tire wear on forklifts and other vehicles.
